TF5 TF Blockchain Postponed | Future Date Announce by mid-April
Open Letter from TF Blockchain Founder, Jonathan G. Blanco
It is with deep heartache that I share TF5 TF Blockchain Conference scheduled for March 19, along with all scheduled chapter events in the Pacific Northwest, will be postponed due to the recent coronavirus outbreak in Seattle and Washington State. It is abundantly clear that we should postpone the TF Blockchain Conference due to concerns about gathering in crowds at large events, which can potentially lead to spreading the coronavirus.
From the onset of the very unfortunate situation in China regarding COVID-19, and as the virus started to appear in the United States and significantly impact King County here in Washington State, TF Blockchain has been guided by information provided by the CDC, WHO, City of Seattle, and State of Washington. We are also listening to our TF Community and taking into consideration the views of our attendees, partners, and speakers.
It has become apparent that the concern regarding coronavirus has reached a level in which it is up to the community to independently be responsible and create measures to keep each other safe by preventing the spread of this dangerous illness. The health and safety of our communities, both our TF Blockchain community as well as our community at large in the city of Seattle, is paramount.
As a result, the TF5 TF Blockchain Conference scheduled on March 19, 2020 will be regrettably postponed to a later date, to be announced by mid-April. We intend to deliver TF5 before the commencement of Summer to serve the blockchain, bitcoin, and cryptocurrency community.
The decision to postpone TF5 has been a difficult and disheartening one, as TF5 was lining up to be our best conference ever with a record number of attendees to this point. We are committed to continuing that momentum as we lock in a new date for TF5. Please stay tuned. We will provide more information as we have it.
In the meantime, TF Blockchain will continue to produce digital content and share throughout our channels, please be sure you are following.
