Fireside Chat with Pomp at TF2

Updated: Mar 13, 2019

During our last TF Blockchain conference held on November 9th, 2018, we had the pleasure of hosting TF 2 keynote speaker and Morgan Creek Digital founder, Anthony “Pomp” Pompliano. Pomp grew up with influences from a family-run data center business before joining the US Army and managing products for Facebook and Snapchat. In 2016, he started building cryptocurrency mining facilities, fully immersing himself into the technology. His mining endeavors eventually led him to starting a second venture fund focused on cryptocurrency and blockchain projects.

"You have to invest in this space. Why? The best founders are going into the space."

Pomp emphasizes the greatest amount of human capital complemented by the high levels of investment is flooding blockchain’s landscape. Like the premise of TF Blockchain, when capital and human capital converge, a honeypot is created attracting more and more talent from companies high and low.

Despite the price, blockchain technology is the future for laying the foundation for further digitizing automation and dismantling current wrappers on the financial industry. Decentralized networks like Bitcoin are naturally transparent with critical network information available to all for interpretation.

TF Blockchain (TF3) will be on March 28, 2019, in beautiful Seattle, Washington, at the top of the Columbia Tower Club.
